About

Mission

As we all know groundwater holds the prominent part of freshwater which can be used by us. We are holding our hands and calling you everyone to join us for preserving it by collecting the freshwater source - Rainwater. We are making sure that everyone gets aware of importance of Rainwater Harvesting and Rainwater is not just for runoff through the soil to the river thus to the sea. We are ready to make everyone prepared to harvest it by filtration and collection.

Vision

To maintain the freshwater level with purity. As we all know groundwater holds the prominent part of freshwater which can be used by us. We hold hands and making everyone to preserve it by collecting the freshwater source - Rainwater. For a secure tomorrow!

RAINWATER HARVESTING

Rainwater harvesting (RWH) is the collection and storage of rain, rather than allowing it to run off. Rainwater is collected from a roof-like surface and redirected to a tank, cistern, deep pit (well, shaft, or borehole), aquifer, or a reservoir with percolation, so that it seeps down and restores the ground water. Dew and fog can also be collected with nets or other tools. Rainwater harvesting differs from storm water harvesting as the runoff is typically collected from roofs and other surfaces for storage and subsequent reuse. Its uses include watering gardens, livestock, irrigation, domestic use with proper treatment, and domestic heating. The harvested water can also be committed to longer-term storage or groundwater recharge.

Rainwater harvesting is one of the simplest and oldest methods of self-supply of water for households, having been used in India and other countries for many thousands of years. Installations can be designed for different scales including households, neighbourhoods and communities and can also be designed to serve institutions such as schools, hospitals and other public facilities

Monsoon is the prime time where 90 percent rainwater is showered. In India Monsoon is between June to September. Therefore it is the time where most of the water can be conserved and preserved. The right action taken to save water at this time for summer can lead to the greatest results of saving the maximum amount of water.
